Thomas Merlet joined Foncsi in March 2026 through a secondment from Safran under a skills based corporate philanthropy agreement. He is an engineer with 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry. His main mission at the Foundation is to translate the results of the research project Safety of the Future, “Living with” uncertainty, complexity, and new expectations, into a literary work accessible to a broad audience.

A recent graduate in information and communication from the Université de Toulouse, Fiona Fadat joined Foncsi’s communications team in mid February on a fixed term contract to help prepare the upcoming “Foncsi 5” program and to promote the results of the strategic analyses currently underway.
